BikeRide finds and shows you the best prices of the bikes you want to buy. Prices constantly change and it’s impossible to compare them all yourself.
We search for prices on over 120 bike retailers to guarantee that we find the lowest prices – to save you time and money.
It’s a promise we stand behind: If you find a lower price on a bike elsewhere, we will sell it to you for 10% less. For example, if you find a bike for $480 that we have listed at $500, we will offer you to buy it for $432 through BikeRide. The bike must be the same color and size, sold in the US and not include the use of a coupon.
If you find a lower price, email us at [email protected] with documentation of the price. We’re committed to making sure that the cost of a bike does not keep you from cycling!

Summary of Reviews
We have read all expert and user reviews on the Fjällräven Hoja Expandable Hip Pack. In summary, this is what cyclists think.
8 reasons to buy
- The 4.5L Hoja Hip Pack expands to a 16L backpack.
- The top of the hip pack can be kept closed to maintain two separate compartments (4.5L and 11.5L).
- Items in the hip pack can be accessed easily without having to take off the entire pack.
- Experts say the Hoja Expandable Hip Pack feels well-constructed.
- Testers find the Hoja comfortable to wear in either configuration.
- A reviewer confirms that the Hoja remains secure over rough terrain.
- The backpack has a built-in hydration sleeve and hose routing loops. A tester says it fits 2L bladders.
- This bag is covered by a limited lifetime warranty for manufacturing defects.
2 reasons not to buy
- Experts find the external bottle sleeves small, shallow, and hard to use when the pack is full.
- Reviewers feel the two internal mesh pockets are insufficient for organizing the bag, and one adds that hard objects are easily felt through the “thin” padding.
Bottom line
Fjällräven's Hoja Expandable Hip Pack, formerly known as Specialized/Fjällräven Expandable Hip Pack, functions as a 4.5L hip pack or 16L backpack. Experts feel it's well-constructed, but there aren't any long-term tests. The bag is comfortable to wear and can withstand light rain. The external bottle sleeves are deemed too short, and some feel more pockets are needed. Hard objects should be packed carefully. Overall, experts feel the versatile Fjällräven Hoja Expandable Hip Pack is worth its higher price tag. Alternatively, consider the Osprey Seral if hydration is a priority.Expert Reviews
