Erie County is well known among cycling enthusiasts for its wide variety of terrain and scenery. On a single ride, a bicyclist can experience the beauty of the Great Lakes, rural farmland, old growth forests, and city neighborhoods.
Thursday, August 2, 2018: Let the Fun Begin/Bike Erie Opening Night Fun Ride/ Welcome to Erie! Our opening night slow roll will introduce local and visiting riders to the sites and assets, which make our hometown home.
Friday, August 3, 2018: First BIG Ride Day/ The YMCA’s Jelly Jar Ride/ A Grape-errific ride through the county’s beautiful vineyards and fruit farm region, and the largest grape growing region in the world.
Saturday, August 4, 2018: Second BIG Ride Day/ EmergyCare’s Tour de West County/ Erie County’s premier bicycle tour with all new routes and start location.
Sunday, August 5, 2018: Morning/ WQLN’S Oscar the Grouch Gravel Grinder/Dirt, and gravel mix with hiking trails for rolly-polly.
Sunday, August 5, 2018: Afternoon/ WQLN’S Alley Cat Ride
Riders will be given nine clues to discover nine Erie statue locations.
