Lighthouse Century

The San Luis Obispo Bicycle Club will be holding the Lighthouse Century Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. along Highway 1 between Morro Bay and Piedras Blancas Lighthouse, north of San Simeon. The ride is along the beautiful, fog-cooled California coast with zebras, elephant seals and lovely coastal towns. The event is expected to sell out.
We offer 65 and 75 routes on a relatively flat, out and back course. The 100-mile route climbs 3,000 ft. up Old Creek Road to Highway 46 with an exciting downhill back to Highway 1 to continue on the route. Riders can change their route based upon weather, distance, sights or their mood. The event begins and ends at Morro Bay High School in Morro Bay.
