DescriptionBike through the Great Dismal Swamp, one of the most expansive wetlands in the east. Pedal deep into the swamp along old logging roads to find Atlantic white cedar, inkberry, fetterbush and other unique plants of the swamp. Look for wood ducks and prothonotary warblers as well as signs of black bear, foxes and bobcats. This will be an easy and flat 14-18 mile bike trek.
