William Raveis Ride + Walk

The William Raveis Ride + Walk is a family and community fundraising event that supports the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation. Unlike other cancer charities, Damon Runyon does not place safe bets on well-known scientists. They seek emerging talent with bold and innovative ideas who are willing to take risks with groundbreaking research. Over $1 Million has been raised through this event for the Foundation in the first two years, with 100% of that directly funding cancer research.

With 3 distance options for the ride: 12M, 25M and 50M routes, there is something for every level of rider. The event also includes the option of a 5k walk. Bike routes include picturesque rides along the beautiful Connecticut shoreline, starting in Norwalk and traveling up the coast through conservation lands, wildlife preserves and into the rolling hills of several historic New England towns. Enjoy the back roads and take in the sweeping views on a fully-supported route. The event concludes with a festival that includes food, music and entertainment for all ages.
