21st Annual Pedal the Lakes Bicycle Tour

Join the Mercer County Trails Association for the 21st Annual Pedal the Lakes bicycle tour on Saturday September 2, 2017. This year’s “Celebration Tour” showcases the newly completed crushed limestone recreational Shenango River Trail from Main Street to Porter Road.

Within a ninety-minute drive from Erie, Cleveland and Pittsburgh, our full-service tour in beautiful Western PA and NE Ohio features stops at local wineries, Amish countryside, several lakes, rolling rural roads, and a chance siting of ducks walking on fish. New this year is a Live Action Broadcast with Froggy 95 at Lago Winery. Every bicyclist is welcomed with route options of 12, 32, 65, and 100 miles. Support vehicles patrol the course, but bikes should be in good working order. Riders are encouraged to bring tubes, patches, tools, pumps, etc. Helmets are required.
