Kentucky Horse Country (& Bourbon!) Bike Tour

This Kentucky bike vacation includes several fun & relaxing days on some of the best backroads we’ve had the pleasure of riding. Not only are these little country lanes low on traffic, but they’re all postcard-perfect with scenic horse farms set among gently rolling hills framed by row after row of black fences and stone walls. Pure joy to ride in the “Horse Capital of the World!”

But Kentucky is more than just horses and bluegrass. It is also home to an incredible density of bourbon distilleries. They even have a “Kentucky Bourbon Trail,” some of which we will traverse on our bikes. Mixing in a couple of post-ride distillery tours gives this bike vacation an educational component with a kick!

And if that weren’t enough, we’ve timed the tour to coincide with the local Savory Cycle bike ride, which we’ll participate in as our Sunday finale, providing us with incredible scenery, excellent support along the way, and a first-class finish line with live bluegrass music, a fantastic dinner, and a bourbon tasting from Woodford Reserve.
