Tour de Tinicum 2016
16th annual Tour de Tinicum bicycle ride on May 15, 2016 benefits the Delaware Valley Volunteer Fire Company. We offer 5 rides from a flat towpath family ride to a challenging metric century in beautiful Tinicum Township, Bucks County, PA. Breakfast and lunch provided in the firestation, Reststops, and ride support for all rides. On site registration begins at 6:30 AM and will continue until 8:30 AM. Towpath/Family Tour: Pretty scenery and flat terrain. See a covered bridge, the Delaware Canal, historic homes and Tinicum Park: your choice of 4 to 11 miles
Classic Tinicum Tour: This tour misses the hills as much as possible, but has the thrill of riding quiet roads among Bucks County`s most beautiful scenery. For cyclists of all skills; approximately 15 miles
The Intermediate Tour: A mix between hills and flats, while emphasizing the beautiful Tinicum scenery: 36 miles
Endurance Tour: This tour is a mix of hills and valleys, with spectacular woodlands and lovely farmlands. For expert riders. 48 Miles
Metric Century Tour: A popular and ambitious ride that includes the beauty and challenges of riding in Tinicum. For expert riders, it is our most challenging ride. 100 kilometer/62.4 miles.
