Tour de Frederick

Tour de Frederick is a premier 3 day cycling event. Friday has a history ride through downtown Frederick (available for the one and two day registrants). Friday night will include a special presentation by Joff Summerfield who has ridden his penny farthing bike around the world.

Saturday you can choose a 12 mile family ride, 35, 62 and 100 mile routes. You will celebrate at the Finish Line BBQ and then head into downtown for the National Clustered Spires High Wheel Race, the only one of its kind in the US. You will watch racers from the UK, US and Canada as they vie for the National title. http://www.highwheelrace.com/

Sunday you will ride 38 miles of MD’s most scenic bike ride through the covered bridges.

You can register as a solo rider or on a team. Children ages 11-17 ride for $5 with a paying adult. Can’t wait to see you!
