Ride the Fault Line
Seven day, 4 state ride through the heart of the central United States, visiting portions of Missouri, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Kentucky. Cross the mighty Mississippi River on one of the last remaining riverboat ferries. Experience the history of, and see landforms created by the Great New Madrid Earthquakes of 1811-1812. Tour a Civil War era mansion and museum, visit a restored early 1900’s one-room schoolhouse and the residence/studio where Ernest Hemingway wrote “A Farewell to Arms”. Average 60 miles a day riding on some of the flattest terrain anywhere! And for those cyclists for whom no ride is complete without some elevation gains, there will be optional hilly routes offered. Located within an easy day’s drive of over 30 central U.S. cities.
