santa cruz mountains challenge

This is a premier road bike event being staged for the 18th consecutive year by the Santa Cruz County Cycling Club. Its four routes consist of 45, 75, 101 and 135 miles, with elevations ranging from 2,905’ to 13,215’. The 45 mile route is a less strenuous ride along the ocean and back to campus, while the other three routes are mountainous. Lunch, post-ride meal, SAG, rest and water stops. The SCMC is one of the best supported rides in California thanks to 100+ volunteers.
