The BikeRide.com Blog was started in February of 2007, but BikeRide.com has been around in some form since 1994. Many of the past ride reports that appeared in other areas of bikeride.com were moved over to this blog.
BikeRide.com is run by Brent Soderberg, a former Cat 1 road racer who is a native of the Seattle, Washington, but moved to Connecticut in 2003. I rarely race anymore, but am a semi-regular bike commuter, and enjoy riding the backroads of northwest Connecticut, and Western Massachusetts.
Things you will find on this blog include ride reports from my adventures on the bike, thoughts on bike related topics that I find interesting, including news with a local flavor to Connecticut or New England since that is where I live.
