American Tyler Farrar (Cofidis) had a top 10 finish today in the semi-classic Kurne-Brussells-Kurne that was won by Tom Boonen. This shows Farrar is on good form heading into the Spring Classics. While is seems like most Americans racing in Europe excel in stage races, Farrar is one of the few Americans on a ProTour team that excels in the classics. With George Hincapie sidelined with a broken arm, it could be up to Farrar to carry the American hopes in the classics.
